The Cause
Within REACH is:
Redirection, Education, Avocation, Counseling & Housing for young adults. This is for those 16+ who are in a homeless/couch-surfing situation due to absent or inadequate parental supervision. The Within REACH house is a three-bedroom in Bryant, owned by one of directors of the program. It is being rented at the time, but when vacant, the house will be used for the youth and two adult supervisors.
The Board of Directors for Within REACH includes:
Yvonne Dougherty, Director of the Saline County Adult Education Center; Curtis Wilson, Treasurer for the City of Shannon Hills; Brent Standridge, Attorney at Law; Shelli Russell, founder of MySaline.com, columnist for Benton Courier; Dave Hall, studio musician and electrician; "Angry Patrick" Beam, comedian and public relations specialist; and Dustin Works, Poster Child. :)
